IBAT Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

At the International Business Academy of Turkey (IBAT), we uphold a commitment to academic
excellence, integrity, and professionalism. This Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral
expectations for students, faculty, staff, and all stakeholders within our educational
community.

Student Code of Conduct

  • Academic Integrity: Uphold honesty and integrity in all academic work. Plagiarism, cheating, and academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited.
  • Respect and Inclusivity: Treat all individuals with respect and dignity, embracing diversity and inclusivity in all interactions.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, communication, and attire, both on-campus and online.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all local, national, and international laws, as well as academy policies and regulations.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for all, promoting health and safety practices.
  • Students: Attend classes regularly, participate actively, and contribute positively to the academic community. Respect the rights of others and comply with academy policies.
  • Faculty and Staff: Provide quality education and support services, maintain fairness and transparency, and serve as role models for students.
  • Administration: Foster an environment conducive to learning, ensure fairness in governance, and uphold the academy’s mission and values.

    • Disciplinary Procedures

    Violations of the Code of Conduct will be investigated fairly and impartially. Consequences
    may include warnings, probation, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the
    offense and repeated violations.

    Reporting

    Report violations of the Code of Conduct to the appropriate authority promptly. Confidentiality
    and protection against retaliation will be ensured for all reporting individuals.
